Post-operative Recovery

A complete recovery takes at least a week or so. Assessment of recovery rate for every patient should be done individually by themselves. Although they are welcomed to stay in the hospital as much time as possible. Patients are prescribed to take analgesics for pain relief as per their request to make sure they are comfortable especially at night. Also, patients are advised to take plenty of rest and fluids along with regular exercise of calf muscles to avoid blood clots.
